I have been very very busy at work..Haha. SBUX US and HKG came, Mr N, Mr WL, Mr DT and Mr SC was all there. I was really afraid to meet all except Mr WL cos I get along well with Mr WL. Mr DT and all are very scary la. So I went about my work as normal and they came to talk to us a while. For the 2 days that they are here, Mr M and Mr AM has been very busy. The whole day they were in the conference room. I hope that the contract negotiation goes well. I am too tired to write in the details. we see how.

Woke up a bit late today, accompanied with a very bad mood. Then I gotta go to Tamp to pay Courts and everything...Went with Lulu. Bought some food for Mommy and then went home. It's raining cats and dogs man...
I ended up going to BBQ late. Suppossed to meet Ms HKG and MS OSA at 1700 but ended meeting at 1900. It stopped raining. Reached there around almost 2000. Met Mr M's wife, Mr AM's wife, Mr WL's wife and kids and a few other people. Had Nachos, BBQ chicken and the usual stuff. There was wine, vodka but I didn't touch any of those. Just didn't want to. So by 2200 I was outta there. It was fun la..Just taht I can't stay long cos I have to go home alone and I am afraid to walk alone. Ms HKG and boyfie accompanied me till I get a cab. Took about 15 minutes to get a cab. So now, I'm home lying on my sofa, with Boon snuggling near my head. I think I'm gonna sleep soon. I'm very very sleepy...

I have been so busy the whole week. Four days straight I overtime. Since 2moro is a holiday, I intend to sleep like a log. Ever since taking over SNG, my life is suddenly very very busy. Haiz!!I hope the new CSR is capable enough to handle the job. Let's recap.
Started as usual on Monday, with THA order to allocate. Then the email started to come. Promotions la, enquiries on Air, Sea and Courier for MLY, THA, SNG and IDO. By 1500, I was still doing THA order, while waiting for all enquiries to come back. I had my first Store Order for SNG. They are ordering furniture from our DC in Futian. So I allocated the orders and shipment will be shipped by end of this month. It was easy. Haha. Of course, since I know the procedures and all. Only that instead of exporting from DC to other countries, I'll be importing it to Singapore. Heard that SBUX SNG have 2 women who are very very bitchy!!But no worries, I can handle them. So communicated with Ms SJ (2nd witch, 1st witch is Ms EN) and all is fine. On Tuesday, I was waiting for my IDO order and it never came. IDO is another client that always takes their own sweet time to do eveything. And they never instruct properly. Tuesday was ok la. Had to do some follow up for all countries.But it really kept me busy because I was busy assisting Mr AM. Can't argue, he is very busy. IDO order confirmation came on Wednesday, making my life miserable because by then, MLY have already dropped their order and I was waiting for the confirmation. So I was doing my IDO order on Wednesday evening because, I have some trouble trying to find an available vessel for WH shipment. Today, I had to do my MLY order. Since MLY os having a holiday, so I am a bit relieved from their enquiries. If not, I will be bombarded by thousands of questions. THA order for next week also dropped today, but I will only start allocating on Monday. Just now was the most craziest moment. I have until 1930 to try to clear my inbox. And for the first time, I did not manage to clear. There are still lots to allocate form Seattle which I have not done. Ms OSA and me were the only one left for the day in SBUX dept. And both of us were struggling to finish everything. And I just remembered that I did not set my Out-of-Office Auto message. Hah! What the hell! Like I would remember. Anyway, remember the over-ship problem to THA [Recap: March 14]? Well, PHI wanted the shipment to be forwarded from WH, meaning we will have to ship it back to SIN and then allocate to PHI. But Mr WL managed to convinced them to ship direct from THA. So we decided to arrange that. But then, there was some problem. PHI wanted to use their own forwarder. But they have no experience in exporting coffee beans from THA. In order to export, they will have to have an export permit, which will take about a month. By the time export permit is ready, PHI promotion period is over and the beans will be of a waste!! So now, we are waiting for DHL THA to assist if we can shorten the period of time for the export permit. I hope by Monday, Mr WL will be able to help.
Oh yeah, had a chat with one of my former colleagues just now. Ms AJ, a message to you, please be strong in whatever you are going thru. I now you can make it babe. It will take time and hopefully, everything will be well, insyaallah. Miss the times when we talk.
This coming Sat will be our SBUX BBQ/. I'll be the only Malay girl there as Ms Lcl have other plans and Ms MZ do not know if she will be coming because her boyfie so hates MrWF (taking care of our WH). Not too sure of the story la. So it's just me and the rest of the mandarin and a minority of hindi and indian speaking people. Haiz. Gd luck to me man!!!

Have not been able to blog for the past few days. Very busy at work, overtime at work almost everyday. Haiz…I hope the new CSR will come in soon or it looks like I have to camp out in my office. Anyway, let’s recap…Yeah, Liz left us, so now Mr AM and me are splitting up the Local. Mr AM will be assisting Ms Lcl on the daily local orders and I will be handling all direct shipment to Local. Not much to do, but follow up is a must. So now there’s like, 3 million folders in my mail. Haha!
Life at home is ok la. Lulu is still sick. I am so mad at her. Last week, she went to polyclinic twice and she is still not well. Yesterday, Mommy brought her to private clinic. She never wants to take her medicine on time. Yesterday, she had fever again, so now, she is on MC till Sunday. I dunno when she will get better. I hope fast, so that all of us can stop worrying already. I actually intended to bring her to SBUX BBQ, but since she is sick then forget it. Malin is having this rash all over her body. And when I say all over the body, I mean all over the body. She looked like a walking human map. It looks like she is allergic to something. Told her to meet a specialist, but that big fat girl just won’t budge. Haiz..Mommy is fine. She was a bit pissed cos this health group or something tricked her into signing this GIRO form. They said that if other people buy their products through Mommy, then she will get commission from the sales. Commission will be transferred to GIRO. What a load of crap!!Kan usually GIRO is being used to DEDUCT not ADD. Mommy pulak boleh percaya. I was so mad. So yesterday, Mommy called them up and said that she do not want to be I this anymore. Good for her. It’s 300+ a month ok the deduction. Not gonna let my mom throw away good money like that. Just because the first time she bought their product it cost 300+, they want to deduct the same amount every month and deliver her the products. So my mom told them la, she do not want it as it is not effective.
Can’t recall much now cos I’m super duper sleepy. Will update soon again.

Yesterday was the last day of Elizabeth aka Ms TWN. We had lunch at Takae Sushi, Liz's favourite place. Food was ok la. Had the longest lunch ever in DHL. Haha!! Everything was well. So, here's a short meassage.
" Hey babe, even if I knew you for only a few months, you are among one of the
strongest person SBUX could have. Hope you keep on having a wonderful journey
out there. We'll miss you. "
After that, we had a slideshow made for her. She cried while watching it. We succeeded in making her cry. Pictures will be updated on Multiply soon. Keep on watching!!
Today is Suriani Suaidi's 21 birthday. May all be well with her. Nothing much to say.

I woke up today with a very bad headache but good mood.
Yesterday, Mr S found out that I over-ship some promotion goods to THA. This is not good because the over-shipped quantity belongs to PHI. So when Ms PHI wanted to allocate from WH, there was insufficient quantity. I was shock when I heard I over-shipped. Cos I did everything to tally the order and nothing was being missed. So how did I over-ship?
Despite the cold sweat that was beginning to form, I kept my head above the water. So, I started from the beginning. I retrieved the O/C (Order Confirmation) given by Mr T. It turned out that THA input the Promo goods in the weekly Order. Naturally, none of us noticed that because it was a long list. Mr T did not notice and confirmed the quantities to be allocated and forwarded to me. I, in turn, allocated the goods, not knowing that the Promo goods were on the list. It did not occur to me to check because I already allocated it in the previous shipment.
So, basically, every party missed it out. I emailed Mr T about it and now we are trying to see which will be a better choice.
a) to ship from THA direct to PHI
b) to ship from THA back to SIN, and then allocate to PHI
c) to get PHI to use their own forwarder to pick from THA
I think, the best would be from THA direct to PHI, but not too sure if it can be done, because there might be clearance problem. Whatever it is, I hope they will not bill the charges to us. Why? Because I do not think it is my fault.
Personal life, everything is ok. By the way, I have a birthday bash tomorrow. Ms M’s birthday. I’m not going though. Why? Because I would feel very uncomfortable there. There are a lot of people that I would love to meet again, but I just do not think that everything would be the same as last time.
They are a very strong group. I will just be one of the black sheep there. Like I said, I am the kinda person that a lot of people might forget that they use to have as a friend. Trust me, I’m not outstanding in any ways. So, I might as well just disappear. It sort of happened already once.
It was last year and Ms N’s (former colleague) birthday is coming. Ms M called to ask if I wanted to share for the birthday present. Of course I said yes. Told me they are getting her a watch. So I agreed. So yeah, transferred the money and everything. I did not get to see the watch. So, a few weeks after her birthday, I was going through Multiply and guess what I saw, a birthday bash with all my former colleagues and I wasn’t even invited. Hmph! Frankly, I was hurt. Of cos, everyone was there. And the best part is, no one even bothered to invite me. Now, I just found out from another former colleague of mine that they are sharing to buy Ms M a watch. And Again, I’m hurt.
See? Now, do you get what I mean by saying that people just won’t remember me?

At work now, while waiting for the helpdesk to attend to me. Something is wrong with one of my system. Couldn't’t log on. Said that it couldn't’t log on due to wrong password. Dunno why… Yesterday was an ok day @ work. A bit busy, importing files for SNG. Turns out that I will only be back up for SNG. Mr AM will be taking over. So yeah, no additions for me. A little sad though, cos I have learnt almost everything. SBUX will have a BBQ session and we are all invited. I dunno if I want to go. So lazy, and what if it rains? I SO do not wanna get wet because of the rain. We see how la..Plus, to I have to pay 15 bucks. My pocket is almost empty now, so I’m not too sure.
Lulu went to the clinic with Mommy yesterday as her eyes are swollen. Told her to go to the clinic to check her eyes. Mommy said it is because of her fever but I do not think so. So they went again. It turns out to be a bacterial infection. They took her blood to see if she has dengue. Doc said no, but she still gotta go back in 2 weeks time for a follow up. So, hope everything is ok.
Just ended the call with helpdesk. Very nice gentleman who attended to me. And he is not local. American. Anyway, my account have just ended and I will have to send in a request to extend the account. But I cannot do it. Mr DT (SBUX partner) have to do it.
Went to smoke just now and found 2 CUTE little kittens. I love them but I can’t take them home cos of Boon. So now I’m looking for someone who can keep them… Look at the pics below...
Just have to wait and see. Gotta get back to work now. Update later.

Here I am, still at work, waiting for a sailing schedule from Netherlands to SIN. Today is my first day of menus. After a few months of not having. Hehe. Naturally, I’m tired.
Let’s see…Today, I learnt a few more things from Ms TWN before she leaves this 14th. Haiz…Will be in charge of another MBU, which is actually SNG (Singapore). Any new stores opening, I will coordinate. Just like other countries, except that this is inbound instead of outbound. I think I’m getting the hang of it. Mr AM is also learning, so hopefully he will become back up for Ms Lcl, helping her with the Retail deliveries. I prefer being in charge of direct shipments from other countries to SIN.
When I was learning today, I realized that I was actually having fun. It’s like the satisfaction of finally understanding a certain subject. Hehe!! At least I know now that my brain is still working.
Work today is fine, my brain is a bit fuzzy. Like everything is in slow-mo. But when I was learning SNG, it was ok. Guess I needed to have a wake up call, since I do the same thing everyday. Haha..Not saying that it is boring. Just saying that there are ups and downs when you are following up the same thing almost everyday. Chasing for sailing schedule, chasing for final dox.
Mr AM was up here the whole way, chances are, and he will be sitting with us once Ms TWN leaves. That means no more surfing the Internet always. Hmph! But its ok cos by the time Ms TWN leaves; I will be very very busy creating orders for retail. Haha!!
Insyaallah! Everything will be fine.

Gd morning beautiful people…
Here I am at work, with nothing to do. Haha. Actually, a lot to do, but Planner’s server is down in HKG, so Mr T can’t confirm my orders, so yeah. I am now importing .pst file for Singapore. [RECAP: Ms TWN is leaving, please read March 6, 2008]. While importing the file, I will not be able to use my email.
Anyway, I totally forgot to tell you guys about my appraisal. It was great. Had a talk with Mr M. He is very happy with my work though I do have to work a bit in a few areas; communicating with clients and following up. There a lots of ‘Fully Meet’, I think 2 ‘Exceeds’ and about 3 ‘Partially Meet’. Overall, Mr M said for someone who has been working here less than a year, I am doing a great job. Mr WL (he is my logistic partner in SBUX, located in HKG), had a lot to say. Good things of course. Hehe.
So, when Mr M asked what I want for 2008, I told him that I want to be attached to WH so that I can learn more on the process. Mr M will put this into consideration and hopefully it could be done. Syiok man…I also requested to ride the forklift, but Mr M said no. Of cos, I need to have a license for that. So I am willing to compromise, I requested to ONLY sit in the forklift, the key Mr M will hold. So it’s a deal. Wee!! Can’t wait. Haha.
Oh yeah, spoke to Mak Ngah and Pak Ngah about Malin’s engagement. As I won’t be able to make it on 26th Apr, they will do it earlier. Haha. Thank God. For a moment I thought I will have to cancel the trip because Malin is getting engage. So hopefully I everything will work out well.
So, this morning, I was blurting the story to Ms Lcl, and she have great news too!! Her boyfie’s parents came to ask her hand for marriage. That is great news. They are gonna do it on 1-May. A little later than Malin. So very happy for her. Soon, they will be Minah Kahwin2. Haha…
Sunday was a movie marathon @ home for me. Woke up early, went down to buy bread to cook everyone breakfast and then watch movie. I watched; Bring it on Again, Just My Luck and Practical Magic. All are good movies. While watching, I fold clothes. Why not? Sitting there doing nothing. By the time I finish watching it was already 5 plus. Then around 6 plus, we watched another movie, this time a Malay movie, cos Mommy fell asleep while watching it the day before. Diva Popular, that’s the story. Good story, very likable.
Ok, shall end it here, cos Mr AM is back after 2 weeks of reservist and he’s in the office now. So shall be a good worker and work.

Sunday was a movie marathon @ home for me. Woke up early, went down to buy bread to cook everyone breakfast and then watch movie. I watched; Bring it on Again, Just My Luck and Practical Magic. All are good movies. While watching, I fold clothes. Why not? Sitting there doing nothing. By the time I finish watching it was already 5 plus. Then around 6 plus, we watched another movie, this time a Malay movie, cos Mommy fell asleep while watching it the day before. Diva Popular, that’s the story. Good story, very likable.
Ok, shall end it here, cos Mr AM is back after 2 weeks of reservist and he’s in the office now. So shall be a good worker and work.

Satisfied MommyWoke up at 730 in the morn to get my passport. Mommy went with me. I promise her to to have breakfast at Warong Nasi Pariaman, so she agreed to come. Mommy was so happy to be able o get breakfast there.
So we board the bus at around 8 plus o go to lavender. A lot of people there but it was very systematic and by 945, I already collected my new passport. Haha. Anyway, went to eat at Warong Nasi Pariaman. I recommend the rendang and ayam bakar. It is super duper delicious. But the service is not that good. Kinda rude. Mommy was really enjoying the food. Mommy was very excited when I wanted to bring her there. She was really ecstatic. Haha!!
By the time we finished, it was around 10 plus, so we went to Indulge, a sinfully delicious pastry and cakes shop. Bought for Lulu and Malin chocolate muffins, cheese buns and croissants. Then went to Zam Zam to but 3 packets of Murtabak and suji. Went home, but before that, Mommy went Banquet to but some Kuih Melayu. What's the occasion? Fahmy's parents are coming to merisik Malin. Finally!!!!! Malin is now like minah mentel...
So not, 1706, Fahmy's parents are discussing with Mommy, Mak Ngah and Pak Ngah. From the rate that they are going, everything is well. But I need to talk to Mommy fast on the dates as they wanna do it on Apr 26th. Which is a nightmare come true as I will be going to KL on that date itself. So I need to talk to Mommy quick.

Today has been the busiest day after so long...I was waiting for JKT order to drop on Wed but it didn't due to my clients comp broke down. So today, it came. And my MLY too. By the time Mr T (planner), confirmed, it was lunch time. Can you imagine? More that 20 thousand units for each order and both came at once? Sigh! Anyways, Around 1430, I was still struggling with my JKT order. Then, we had a short training for me and Mr S. I will be taking over SNG, handled by Ms TWN. She will be leaving us this 14th, so one more MBU to take care of. So I gotta learn the procedure and all. It is very tricky cos I have another system that I have to learn. And yeah, Ms Lcl will be around for a while. Told her to have a heart to heart talk with Mr M, so yeah, everything is ok.
So by 4, I just finished ny JKT order and we have another meeting coming up. Mr M decided to break to us a great news. We will be getting a new colleague soon to cover for JPN SD (Store Development). There will be another transition for clients. This means we will shuffle all the countries all over again. I will still be keeping JKT, as this is my baby. Long story. To make it short, JKT used to use Schenker, but they switched to DHL. According to Mr M, mostly because of me. Cos I handled the shipment very well. I must say, it is a surprise, as I never thought someone would think highly of me. I hope we won't lose this business cos a lot of cock up for the first 3 shipments. However, I promise to myself that I will not let SBUX down.
Anyway, another good news!! Malin will be under trainee manager...Meaning my lil sister will be in training to be a manager!!! I am so happy for her. And I promise myself that I will not be jealous. Can't help it la. Cos I'm the elder sis and yet I'm bring hone lesser that her. Nevertheless, I'll still be happy for her.
Home, everything is OK. Ira's arm hurt. So mom brought her to the clinic, after which she still went to school, cos she said she'll be bore as no one will be at home. Weather nice2, she wanna go school. If it was me, I'll gladly take the MC and sleep. Haha. Mommy went to work and as usual, using her gift, she handle the kids at work pretty well. What is she working as? She's a Child Care Giver. It's trues, she really have a gift with kids. Actually, even though I'm 23, she still manage to wrap me around and make me listen to her. And you know I am very stubborn.

Here I am sitting at my desk with nothing to do. Sigh! Anyway, Ms Lcl is back and she seems getting better. Saw an email from Mr LE (he is the Logistic Executive @ my warehouse) to Mr AM, stating that what Ms Lcl screw up is entirely CS Team fault. He also indicated that the CS had a communication broke down and not we are responsibe. He also indicated that WH (Warehouse) is not at fault. I was boiling mad by the time I finished reading that email. Ms OSA, Ms TWN and I were crowding around Mr S desk. We seriously feel the hatred running thru our veins. I was like, what does he mean that CS is not responsible?
Anyway, Mr AM replied to Mr S and Mr LE, saying that he wants this to be explained. What’s worse is that Ms Lcl has not been improving thru out the nearly 3 months here. And if she does not improve, she’s outta here. It is brutal, I know. Plus she is my friend and I SO do not want to see this happening. I feel bad. Because I introduced her to our family and this have to end this way. I am hoping against hope that this does not end up with her force to leave. Back to the email, then, Mr M, emailed Mr LE, MR AM and Mr S, questioning the fact that checking of documents was done only at the eleventh hour at WH. It should have been done earlier, so that CS will be able to hand over the documents on time. But no, it was only done later in the evening. Mr M asked Mr LE to question WH peeps, why this was done at the last minute and not on time. Haha! That email from Mr M made my day.
Hmm..I hope that Ms Lcl will still have her position after this is all cleared. And, Mr S gave me great news today. Me taking care of LCL is TOTALLY a joke!! YES!!!
Yesterday, before sleeping, Mommy, Lulu, Ina and I was bumming around in my bedroom talking about Ina’s engagement. Personally, I think it is too soon. She wanna have the engagement ceremony this month. Plus hantaran and everything. I think it’s too soon. Ina is always working and so is Fahmy. Best thing is that, Fahmy seems to be procrastinating the whole thing. Yesterday, he spoke to Mommy, saying that he was still unsure of the meeting this weekend as his dad has to work. I mean, come on la. This is not an everyday thing man. Just do it and get it done with. When I told Ina that we do not have sufficient time to do the hantaran, she kept on saying can, still got time, her friend can do. But the thing is, her friend, too, needs the time to get everything ready. So when I was saying all this things, she told me to shut up. At the moment, Fahmy called. She straight away complained to Fahmy, saying that we all bising2 like as though it is our engagement. I was pissed. So I told her not to expect me to get involve in the engagement too much. SO irritating. She thinks she can always do it. I can tell you, the engagement is gonna suck big time IF she do not start on it now.

My name is Rita and I'm 23. Cuurrently working at one of the top compan worldwide, DHL Global.
Well, where do I start? Hmm...I graduated secondary school in 2001. Went to TP for a while doing Info Management Course. Not my cup of tea, so I went astray. Dropped out and started to look for a job.
Now, 5 years later, after much job hopping, here I am working at DHL. Won't tell you which location..hehe..I am taking care of SBUX account. Meaning any orders that they have, I will be in charge of coordinating them. Currently I am taking care of THA, MLY, IDO and SIN inbound. SBUX have a warehouse located my workplace. Will be having my first trip to MLY in Apr. Just to know our clients better. Below is the list of people that I am working with.
Mr M - Manager
Mr AM - Assistant Manager
Mr S - Supervisor
Ms MLY - Me taking care of Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia
Ms OSA - Taking care of Osaka, Tokyo and Australia
Ms HKG - Taking care of Hong Kong, Philippines, and New Zealand
Ms Taiwan - Taking care of Taiwan and Singapore
Ms Lcl - Taking care of Local
The people that I have been working with and for are great. They are very supportive and will always be ready to assist you. But who said life is peaceful always?
Today, I went to work, as per normal, my colleague, Ms Lcl, was on MC, so we had to cover for her. Since she is doing local, there's lots of work to do. DO, Store order, transfers to be created. Sigh! And the worse is that on Friday, she did not send out today's order (complicated? I know!). So Mr S was very upset as Mr AM question us how can we miss out on a daily operational process. So in the morning, empty stomach an cold, we set to do all that we can. Ms TWN, who is the back up of Ms Lcl, was upset to as she had to divide her attention to a lot of Ms Local's unfinished business.
As I was happily doing my work and chatting with Mr S on the MSN, he decided to give me a big blow. They wanted to give me Local and take away my countries. I was devastated to hear this. The reason why I wanted to work in a logistic firm is that so I can learn about shipping line. But according to Mr S, I am meticulous and I am the right candidate for Lcl. But I just don't agree!!! Plus, it will take away my chances of going overseas to meet my clients. Sigh! I hope this will not happen as I do not want to take care of Local!!
I hope that they will change their mind.
