I was so busy that I had no time to update. Well, this 2 weeks was a blast. Last week on Sunday, Mira, Ibu and I went to Malin's workplace to window shop. And since Ibu is loaded with cash, I decided to borrow about 30 bucks to buy a pair of shoes. Which I got at Novo, 50% off. Then, just last Friday, my SBUX colleagues decided to go for a shopping spree during lunch as there was an Adidas sale @ Expo. So I spent about $32 dollars for a big bag, a toiletries bag cum small tote bag and a water bottle for Mira. Just when I thought I'm done with shoping, Mak Chu called up this morning and we went again for the Adidas sale. This time, I spent a little over $100. Then I went to work. When I was busy at work, Mak Cha called, asking me to accompany her to Robinsons Sale. And so.....I went...And spent another $140...Haha...This has been a hectic week. So many things. I just wish I have more money...Enjoy the barang-barang.

Presenting the 7th American Idol; David Cook

I wasn’t a big fan of David Cook when he first started in American Idol. I was concentrating on Kristy, Jason, Carly, Syesha and David. But when David Cook sang Always Be My Baby, alternative version, I literally fell head over heels with him. I mean WOW!!!
So when I got the news that he won, I am very very happy. My prediction was correct. Who says rockers can’t win. Anyway, very happy for David Cook. May he have a heck of a journey. Keep on rocking!!! WooHoooo!!!!

Went to Expo for the Wedding and Food Fair. While Malin and Mak Chu went to see the wedding packages, I went to buy some make-up. Hehe..Thanks to Ibu. I borrowed 50 bucks to buy the make-up. I got a 2-in-1 compact and loose powder, rouge. Lulu got an eyeliner. But I'm gonna use it too. And Malin got a Bobbi Brown eye shadow. Cheap la...Everything cost around 50 bucks. Then went to jalan jalan at Tamipnes Mall. By the time I got home, my feet was killing me. So I went to take a nap. Now that I am awake, I have lots to do. Pictures of my make-up.

Wondering what are the pictures doing here? Well...One month from now, SBUX CS will be on a kelong on the middle of Sibu Sea. Here's all it started.

About a month ago, Aric decided to go for a short getaway to nowhere. Just to get away from the city. We girls thought it was interesting and asked him to enquire on it. So he did. All cost about 100 bucks per pax, and we all agreed to go. So i paid a hundred bucks to Aric. I better pay first so that I won't accidentally spend it. They all know that 'thrifty' is not a word in my dictionary. Ahaz!!

As we were counting the days to kelong, SBUX HKG, Willie and Stephen came to Singapore. So after so much meetings and all, they decided to have lunch with the rest of us. As it turns out, my trip to MLY is cancelled as Joyce is taking over. So hopefully, I am able to go to Indonesia or Korea!!! **crossing fingers**So, after much talking, suddenly the topic about team building came up. So I was wondering, what the hell are they talking about. As it turns out, Stephen decided that SBUX should pay for our trip to nowhere. Weeeee!!!! I'm gonna get my 100 bucks back and I am so so happy....We had nice chats with Willie and Stephen.

Later on, we came back to office and Aric wen around asking money...Not for him of course. A few days ago, May 13th, there was a massive earthquake in China. Lot of people lost their homes, loved ones and practically everything else they owned. ( Yeah, i know some stuff!!). So...The money is for the people who went through the earthquake. I donated 20 bucks. I know that it is not much but I hope my contribution will help the victims back to their feet. It's very sad to hear all these people losing their lives.

Since we are hovering on the subject of death, tomorrow will be exactly 2 years and 9 months that my dad passed. I pray and hope that he is in a better place now. Dun worry Bapak, we are all OK here, and insyaallah, we will strive till the end. I love you Bapak.

Okay, so now, I'm so tired and I am having a migraine. Plus I am so hungry. Ibu did not cook today as she has to attend her English course. But of course, love of a mother towards her children, she bought us chicken rice. I am sure it will taste full of love. I love you mom.

Today is a special day for every mom in the world. This post is dedicated to my mom. Without her, I will never be able to stand on my own to feet.

Ever since I was young, I see my mom as a courageous person who is willing to do anything for a family. When my late father was retrenched, she went out to work. After so long of being a housewife and with little experience from the past, she set out her journey. I am not ashamed to say that when she started er first job, she was a house maid. She wash, clean, make beds and iron the employer's clothes. Every weekday, for 8 hours, she will be cleaning. There was once I was didn't go to school and I followed her to work. She brought for me prata, in case if I was hungry. The moment she stepped into the house, she was all ready for work. There were about 5 rooms in the house and she clean them all.

She then switched jobs, she got a job at banquet as a part-time, working from 5 to 10. Almost everyday, she brought home for us food from the banquet. By then, I was 17 going on 18 and life wasn't easy for us. My sisters are still small and I wasn't helpful, but she never complained. Not once did she complained.

In 2005, she started working part-time at a child care. A few months later, my dad passed away. She knew then she had to take control. She stared upgrading herself, going for courses. I am proud to say that she passed with flying colours for all the courses. From part-time to full time, she set out on a new career line. But with all that, it still wasn't enough for feeding 3 growing kids. She continued taking courses to upgrade herself. Also, her talent for cooking spread and during weekends, she will have order for small occasions. I will helped her in every way I could. Now, she is the head teacher in the toddler section in the child care, another passion and talent that she have.

I dropped out of Poly, just to give her more trouble. I was a rebellious kid, always wanted things my own way. She never gave up her hopes on me. She knew, that one day, I am able to stand on my own feet. And so, she patiently waited until I got my first stable job.

By then I was 20 and I started my job, which lasted me 1 1/2 years. Later on, I found another job, where I am working now. I have realized that whatever my mom did was to keep us well fed and happy. And one day, I hope that will be able to do more for her than what she has done for me and my sisters. Here's a message for my mom.

Mom, I know that you have done a lot for our family throughout the years. I
know that the reason why until today you are still breathing is because of
us. Though it was hard to raise 2 rebellious teen and 1 growing kid. I
just want you to know, that no matter what happen, I will do anything to
keep our family together. Anything to keep you happy. I know that you want
all of us to be happy and you have always given countless chances to change.
We have been rebellious ever since we were kids. Our usual tempers, left you
hurt. I know you always pray to Allah, to protect us no matter where we are.

Mom, you have given me a sense of freedom that I never felt before. That
is to decide on my own and hold responsibility of my own decisions. And when
things go wrong, you are the first person that I turn to. And you never fail
to get me out in any trouble.

I promise you mom, I promise that I won't fail you. Our family will not be divided no matter what happen. No matter how many problems may occur, Insyaallah, I will have a way to settle it. I love you mom. Always always.

So went to work yesterday with a sore throat and came back with still a sore throat, flu and fever. Can hings get any worse??I have plans today and most likely it will be cancelled, thanks to my condition. I just hope I will not have to take MC as I have lots of work to do, with the transition and all. Sigh!!Plus I wanna have m hair rebond, but then, I am sick so that is out of the picture for the time being...

Now I just wanna rest and get better. I will have to suffer as the clinic only opens at 1900. So yeah!!!
