I am bored now. Not much to do. So here I am, listening to my songs on my comp while clearing emails like every 15 mins. I am now so bored that I took pictures of all the supplements that I am eating. Take a look. All these helps to repair my body and provide me with more energy. So I don't feel tired. The thing is right now, I have lots of energy and very little to do. I am so running out of them soon. Need to get more. These are phytonutirents, which is made from plants. No artificial flavour of any sorts. Since I don't usually have the habit of eating healthy, at least I have this supplements to help me.

Just came back from Kaori's house warming about an hour ago. It was fun. All was there except Wendy as she had exams. Reached about 11 plus. Ibu cooked Chicken Curry for Kaori. Hehe..It was fun. Anyway, spent a lot of time playing Scrabble, Uno, Tytie (if I get the spelling right). Then one by one, they headed off. I was the last to leave. Left around 9 plus whereas the rest left around 5 plus. I was just too tired to leave and moreover, there was no one at home so I rather be in the company of humans. Pictures below.

Another story of my life. My uncle was admitted to the hospital early this week. It's a shock to us because among all of us, he is the one who is very health conscious. It turned out that his arteries are blocked and he will have to go for a bypass soon. I am so scare when I heard about this. You see, my dad had bypass operation. While the operation itself was successful, my dad's health changed to worse and 3 months after that, he passed away.

I am not saying that my uncle might suffer the same fate as my dad because my uncle do not have other illness. It's just that I am so afraid that I might lose someone again. It's a hard time for my whole family. Grams just passed away 3 months ago, Pak Long about a week ago and now, my uncle have to go for bypass.

When I visited him on Wed, he was up and about, looking as normal as always. So I have not much to worry. However, Ibu gave me news that scare me even more. She went to SGH earlier to the results of her recent check up and they found that her arteries might be blocked too. So 25th Aug, she will have to go for a scope and if indeed her arteries are blocked, she will have to go for ballooning. I did some research and this is what I found.

Ballooning involves implanting a small, expandable wire mesh in clogged arteries as a scaffold to keep them open. It is generally recommended for patients below 60, to postpone the bypass.

I hope my uncle and my mom will be OK.

I was reading the TODAY and I saw this. It is such a sad reunion about a lion and his owners. Take a look.

LONDON — The “Christian the lion” video, which shows a full-grown lion hugging and kissing his former caretakers in a heartwarming reunion, has become an Internet sensation, logging more than 4 million views on YouTube by Thursday afternoon.
.According to the Los Angeles Times, the video has all the right ingredients of a smash hit: The lion’s menacing slink towards the camera, then the look of recognition on its face as it lunges towards the young men to embrace them, with Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You playing in the background for full sentimental effect.
.But the video is attracting even more attention because of its back story, which first appeared in the Daily Mail last year.

.The two men in the clip are Anthony “Ace” Bourke and John Rendall who lived in London in 1969. They bought the lion, then a 16-kilogramme cub, from Harrod’s which then sold exotic animals. The department store had acquired the cub from a zoo but wanted to get rid of it after it broke out of its cage one night and wreaked havoc on a display of imported goatskin rugs.
.The men named the cub Christian and kept it in their living room. They became local celebrities of sorts, the Daily Mail said, parading the cub around London, taking it to restaurants and even playing football with it.

.But Christian soon grew to 84 kg and his food bills became exorbitant, so they were forced to move him to a wildlife sanctuary in Kenya. After visiting him periodically for several years, they found out that he had already adapted to his new environment and wanted to return for a last good-bye.

.The men were told the lion would probably not recognise his old caretakers. But as the video shows, Christian not only recognised them, but ran to them and hugged them.

.“Christian stared at us in a very intense way,” Mr Rendall was quoted by the Daily Mail as saying. “Then, as if he became convinced it was us, he ran towards us, threw himself on to us, knocked us over, knocked George over and hugged us, like he used to, with his paws on our shoulders.

.The next day, Christian walked back into the bush, where his lionesses and cubs were waiting. He was never seen again — but the power of the Internet guarantees that he will never be forgotten.

Thanks to the Internet, clip of pet lion embracing his former ownershas been immortalised:

Woke up at 0630 hrs on Sat to get ready for Malacca with Suken, Jess and Kaori. Just for the fun of it, we decided to go Malacca to visit Joyce’s hometown. So the journey began. By 0800 hrs we were at Bugis, boarding 707 to Malacca.

The journey was a cold one. I was already dozing off 10 mins after we depart from Bugis. But the nap wasn’t long. Me and Suken kept dozing on and off whereas Kaori and Jess yak and yak and yak. Haha. It was raining on and off too. Had a break at Yong Peng around 12 and we had to change to bus cos our bus sort of broke down.

So the journey went on for another hour to Malacca Central. But it didn’t stop in the bus station itself as the bus that we took is a tour bus. So we had to cross and make our way there. Not that far la. Only across the road. Met Joyce and we are off to have Hainanese Chicken Rice Ball. It’s very famous in Malacca, or so I’ve heard. It is so cute. The chicken rice was shaped into a ball. So every one of us took like 5 balls each and shared ½ a chicken. After that we walked around there. Most of the buildings are very run down, but it was so nice to look at. We continued walking in round to view the shops and everything despite the drizzle. We also went to a temple and caught some pics of Suken and Jess praying.

After walking for 2 hours, we headed to Joyce’s car and we went to Afamosa and Christ Church Melaka. It is such a nice place, with an interesting History. I won’t elaborate on the history here. Then, we went to a shopping at Pahlawan, where I got only tidbits there cos I did not want to spend on stuff I can get in Singapore. Oh yeah, I bought Malin’s Prada wallet there. Imitation la. By the time we left Pahlawan, it was already dark, so we drove to Kota Laksamana I to eat. Or rather, to accompany me to eat Malay food. The Asam Pedas was so Syiok. Prata was for them la or course. So after eating, we went to the VCD shop next door and Kaori bought Sex and The City VCD. Malaysia has STORES selling pirated VCDs. Oh well. Then, it is straight to Jonker Walk. We walked through this Baba Nyonya Hotel. It is scary but beautiful. Everything is so nice and related to Baba Nyonya’s life.

The beautiful thing about Jonker Walk is that one turn of the alley, it is like Geylang, lots of food, another turn it is like Arab Street, lots of those home décor and another turn it is like Tanjung Pagar, drunk ang mohs and locals dancing to the music on the pub. It was all in one. Of course, being a true Singaporean, I was looking for some good imitation stuff la. So I got a Guess wallet for Lulu, Anna Sui coin purse for Ibu. And Birkenstock sandals for me. All imitation la, but I don’t really care. Then we walked around until 11 and then they wanna eat Satay Celup. It’s like steam boat but in the form of Satay. That was the reason why I ate at a Malay restaurant first. I knew there will be pork and all, so I ate first. I just sat there watching they all eat. Of course, pictures must be taken.

Then we went to Pirate’s Park. It’s a theme park. We took a ride on Pirate’s ship. Jess simply couldn’t stop laughing as the ship went higher and higher. Actually me too. Suken was laughing but not as crazily as Jess and me la. But Kaori, she said it’s not high enough and she couldn’t laugh. According to her, back in Japan, the ship gets really high and that is what you call fun. Hmm..Maybe one day I shall take a ride in Japan. Hehee.

So then, we decided to head to Joyce’s crib to sleep as everyone has to wake up early. I have to attend the Power Up Seminar at 0830 hrs @ D’Village Melaka.

Went there and waited for an hour for Abg Naz, Kak Faez and Myn to reach ok!! But since Abg Naz and Kak Faez were one of the speaker, I went. It's amazing how this business changed their life for the better. It started at around 0900 and ended at 1400 ok..Was so sleepy but I kept myself awake to hear all the wonderful stories.

So after that, went to eat at some place I don't remember and then to Johor, Tangkak. Kak Faez was fast asleep and I tried very hard not to, scare that Abg Naz will doze off too.One of the leaders have an aunt who lives there and she have Rambutan tree, Durian tree and lots of leaves. Daun Kesum la, Daun Kunyit and all. Myn and faris was so busy plucking and all to bring home. I didn't eat cos I had some from Joyce's crib.

After about 2 hours, the journey continued, stopping for a short break at Manchap. After about 1/2 hour there, we continued our journey. Thought going home already, but it turned out, the drivers wanna go have their cars washed. So we stopped at Banafe, where there are lots of car wash. Banafe is the warong actually. I ordered Maggie Goreng. Looked at the clock and it was already 10 plus. Then, it was home sweet home.

Pictures!!! I'll update soon on Multiply.

On Tues, went jogging with Kaori, Peter and Aric. Pei Wen tagged along, met her boyfriend there. I ran 3 rounds. Ok fine. I ran 1 1/2 rounds and walked 1 1/2 rounds. Kaori did four, Peter 10 and Aric 18. So I was the loser. Haha. Then we went to eat at Botak Jones. Disappointment is the word. It's not nice and it's expensive. But Peter paid for my dinner. Thanks hor boss!!

On Wed, work was normal la. Nothing much happened. My whole body was aching.

Thurs, a sad thing happened. My aunt's husband, Pak Long, lost his life to cancer. Not many people attend as it was a weekday. Though we have all grown up and went separate ways, all of us were saddened of losing such a friendly, warm uncle.

Went to graveyard and it turned out that he will be buried just opposite Bapak's plot and Nenek's plot. Straight away I went to see Bapak. Seeing his grave, I couldn't help but shed a few tears. I miss him so much. And so, I cleaned his grave and read some doas to him. I hope my doas will be able to ease his journey.

Went to work as normal today and everything was OK. Follow up with the pending shipments. Then Aric decided to talk to me. He asked how was I coping with KOR. I said OK, though I had a few hiccups. Remember the KOR air shipment that Willie approved? Yeah. And JKT is still pending. So yeah. I was so stressed when kena all this but I gotta strive through kan? So after the talk, I went back to work to finish up and went to the library book sale with Suken. Then went to Sheng Shiong to get tidbits for 2moro and also Chicken Essence for Joyce's family as we will be staying over at her place.

So 2moro, 715 at Bedok control station. Then to Bugis to catch the bus to Malacca. Weeeeee!!!Hopefully it will be a blast. Just us girls!!!

Below are the pics of us running. A bit blur but I'm sure you'll know who is who.

Mak Nah and Mak Cha came this morning to help me pack for Amsterdam. I can't really pack yet as I will be going to Malacca next weekend. So we tried to put most of the necessities in the bag. Not much to bring though. But the thought of lots of gifts scare me. I am not that good with spending money actually. I usually over spend. And I hope that Mak Nah won't pamper me with the card. Or else, I'll be so broke n Aug when the bill comes.

After they went home like around 11 am, I went back to sleep cos I was feeling very sleepy. Woke up around 3 and bum around. Watch Prison Break 3 and then ate. Ibu cooked Ayam Kicap and i was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S. I ate 2 huge servings. Hehe.. Love you Ibu!!

Went to Kaori's house in the evening to do facial for her. Not me. Kak Faez did it for her while I take note if I ever need to do it for others. So Indah, if you are reading this, you'll be next. Hehe!! Had KFC and then start the facial session. I was so scare that she wouldn't like the facial but she love it. In fact, she love the product that she bought the Clarifying System, Blemish Control Gel, Multi Protect SPF 50 PA+++ and Pore Cleansing, pictures below in order. I was surprise but happy. Thanks to Kak Faez. Love love. So Alhamdullilah, the products that I have shared with the rest of my family, they like it. Still trying to get some of my family members to buy the products. I'm not rushing but it's kinda cool if I can get extra income every month just by selling soap. Haha!!

It's now almost 3 and I am not asleep yet. Ibu is not alseep too. Haha...Busy watching her AFC channel.

Clarifying System - Consists of Cleanser, Toner & Moisturiser

Blemish Control Gel - unlike others, it does not leave marks when it is dry
Multi Protect SPF 30 PA+++ - protect your skin from UV Rays
Pore Cleansing Masque - good for people with acne problems

This week has been ok for me. Let’s recap.

Monday
Nothing much. Back to work as usual. I was worried as I have one JKT shipment that supplier from US screwed up. Instead of forwarding to JKT direct, they forwarded it to Singapore. And it’s via Air. So you imagine how much it will cost. And an old shipment resurfaces as Tony and I overlooked it. Tony was supposed to order and I was supposed to coordinate. But the both of us forgot so we have to air freight 2 pallets from Hong Kong to Korea. Damn! It cost almost 3K. So I told Peter and Peter told me to talk to Willie on this to see if their end could absorb. After mush worrying at work, I went home with a pretty much pissed feeling. What so you expect? Everything is not working well at work. Got home, changed and straight went to bed till the next morning.

Tuesday
Went to work worrying about the KOR. I kept praying to Allah to help me through this ordeal. Peter told me to talk to Willie, which I have not done on Monday cos I was still scare. So I ignore the instruction again. For lunch we went to Bedok South Market and I had Roti Prata. By then, I was feeling much better but still scare about work. The rest of the time at work was all ok. I came back home, anticipating the arrival of Kak Faez and Myn for my facial. I was supposed to go running with Aric but he was still recovering from flu so it was cancelled. Moreover, it was drizzling. So I wouldn’t want to be responsible for if Aric fainted or something. I was disappointed but cheered myself up with the facial session. It was Myn’s first time and she’ ok. Still have a lot to learn. Kak Faez did my mom’s. And my mom loved it. Thanks Kak Faez and Myn for the relaxing session. Oh yeah, my E-spring came. Kak Feaz’s hubby, Abg Naz came to fix it and all was well. Now we can drink straight from the tap. E-Spring is actually a water filter. It filters up to 99% of bacteria and chlorine in you tap water. And when they showed me the difference between normal water and E-spring water, it was tremendous. With E-Spring, it is like drinking water that you have already boiled. Usually we Malays always boil water, to get rid of the chlorine and bacteria that is running through the pipes when water is being pump into out water system. Below is the pic. Just to show you guys. It is also portable so you can bring it along anywhere you travel. And so, they went home around 11 plus and I went straight to bed.

For your family

Wednesday
Feeling more confident, I emailed Willie on the KOR shipment. Alhamdullilah, he said charges to be billed to AP. I told Peter the good news. And Peter asked what I did to him. Haha. Willie and I have always been on the best of terms. So I was considered lucky that he is ok about the charges. And so, lunch; we went to Bedok South Market again. I have Prata again. Haha..It’s just nice. Work was ok the whole day. I was waiting for Korea and Indonesia to drop the order. Korea did but Indonesia took the whole day to drop their order. Korea’s order confirmation only came in the evening, so I did it on Thursday. We had a meeting after lunch and SBUX HKG is visiting next Friday. So naturally, all was given the instruction to clean up the desk, dress properly and all. I bet Kaori and Suken will be dressing to impress Desmond. Desmond is one of our logistic partners in SBUX AP. And he’s hot. Haha…I think a lot of people think so. So good lick to these two. We end the meeting feeling very happy though we need to cut down on our cases.

Yesterday
Came to work as normal. Looked into my inbox and Indonesia has dropped the order. Like finally!!! So I emailed Tony to confirm ASAP. Few minutes later, Tony emailed and I realized that there was no attachment. Wah…Heart pain!! So the whole morning I kept shooting emails to Robert, my Indonesia customer, to attach the O/C. But he did not reply. Wah…More heart Pain!!! So after lunch I called. And it turns out; Robert was out of town for a meeting and will only be back around 1600. Damn! I definitely have to do overtime if he reverts late. And he did revert late. By the time Tony confirmed, it was 1824. And I have to meet my family at Expo by 1930. So I had to rust like a mad woman. I finished everything and realized it was already 1945. So last minute of transferring song and then I packed and ready to leave. BUT…it was raining. Heavily. So I went back and took an umbrella. I waited until it subsided and walked to Expo. By the time I reached, it was already 2020. I went into Hall 6 and called Malin while walking. When I spoke to Malin, I realized that Malin’s place was much noisier that the place that I am in. Asked her which Hall is it and she said it is near the food court. THEN, I realized that I walked into the wrong Hall!!!! It is actually in Hall 5 and not 6!!! Haha.. Lucky no one notice that. So I walked in the CORRECT Hall and saw them sitting down talking to Zita K about the wedding packages. I was only half listening the whole way, cos I was shivering as my shoe was soaked.

By the time we get back home, it was almost 2200. Very very tired. So changed and went straight to bed.

Today
While people are busy working, I am busy blogging. Hehe..Will update soon…

Last week was fun. Sat, Kak Faez & Abg Naz came to show some demo on Amway stuff. Myn was there too, so had to keep my cat in the room the whole time. Kak Faez showed Ibu some of the household products and Ibu was thrilled. So she will be buying the stuff soon. Haha…Then Abg Naz showed water filter, which I have purchased and will be coming this evening. He actually filtered a bottle of Coke and it became plain water. It’s like magic!! Haha..Anyway, they stayed and showed some other stuff and we went to the tarik @ Simpang. Chatted and had supper. Then, home sweet home by 11 plus. The next day, we went to Amway’s talk. Dr Wong from KL was the guest speaker. It was very informative. Ibu and Myn kept taking down note. They both looked like school girls. Seriously, the talk was very good and I actually learnt a new important word. Phytonutriemts. It means plant-based nutrients. Which is better as it contains no drugs.

Then Ibu went to get her weight and everything. She’s a bit overweight. I didn’t dare to take mine. So I skipped. Oh by the way, Mira was a good girl and she followed us the whole day. Hehe. Side-tracking; congratulations Mira for having her ears pierced for the first time.

After the talk went to Vivo to eat with Myn. It’s Ibu’s first time there, so she was a bit excited. Haha. Then there was this ship harbored there and suddenly, the of the ship crew climbed the sail. With no harness or anything. I was shaking by the time they reached up there. It was so high and yet they seemed at ease. I was so scared. I felt like I couldn’t feel the ground. I actually took a video of it. Will show upload soon? :)

We got home around 3 and went straight to sleep. We were supposed to wake up around 6 to go to Granny’s place but we went there around 7 plus. Over slept la…So we went there and 2 of my cousins are there and we chatted. I helped Mak Nah packed some of her stuff. 3 more weeks to Amsterdam. Woohoo!!!! Can’t wait…

Yesterday was ok at work but Nancy managed to piss me off 15 mins before office hour is over. She’s a bitch. I hate her. And it’s not my fault in the first place.

Today, she’s being even bitchier and yesterday, emailing everybody that she did not know how I got the info of cancellation and all. I should have just passed it to the respective CS instead of replying. Haiz…So much for me being nice and in the end, I end up getting screwed. That’s it!! No more Ms Nice Lady, I am not gonna give them face anymore. They have to remember that we are partners and should stop trateing us like slaves. We are not supposed to even get in touch with supplier and we are doing it. And they are well aware, and yet, they just keep mum about it. What the hell?!?! They think only they can bend the rules. This is C-R-A-P…

I can’t wait for the week to be over.
