As you all know I was away at chalet for my sister's birthday. Pictures will be posted on Multiply soon Alhamdulillah, everything went well. All of my family members managed to make it. And also most of Amira's friends were there. Which leads me to a story that until now, I cannot believe it happened. It happened to Amira's friend, Sufyan B Sulaiman.
I am not sure if you guys read the papers today, but Sufyan passed away this morning. At my chalet. Arwah came to my chalet late, around 2 am, the last one to arrive. Only Allah knows that he would be the first to leave.
When he came, Mom, Mak Nah and my lil cousin was already asleep. Leaving me, Diyani, Liyana, Malin and Fahmy. Mira was with her friends, including Sufyan. Soon after, only Diyani and I was left awake, with Mira and friends outside. I was dozing off when I heard Mira informing Diyani that the guys wants to hang out by the pool. I informed Mira not to go. A few minutes later, I saw Mira sleeping beside us.
I only got about 15 mins of sleep when one of Mira's friend woke me up, exclaiming that one of his friends drowned. Ice cold fear wrapped my heart. I ran to the swimming pool and what I saw will remained etched in my mind for as long as I live. There was Sufyan, lying by the pool. I was shaking all over. One of his friend was crying loudly, mostly because of shock. Another friend, who happened to be his cousin, was already calling the ambulance and his Mom. I could hear the mother's anguish cry over the phone. I was in shock. I remembered asking myself, why and how did this happened. All the while asking myself these questions over and over again, Sufyan was lying just a foot away from me.
The ambulance came only about 15 mins later. Deep in my heart, I knew it was too late. I knew that Sufyan was no longer with us. I have never felt this helpless before. I that I could do was to watch the paramedics trying their very best to revive Sufyan. Soon after, Mom came and 10 mins later, the paramedics took Sufyan to the hospital. We all went back to the chalet, feelng numb.
Out of the 4 friends that was with him when the incident happened, one went with him to the hospital, the other 2 went to fetch his mother, whereas the last one was with us till the next afternoon. He just couldn't stop crying. We were all worried, praying that Sufyan will be well.
About 2 hours later, the bad news came and Sufyan was pronounced dead around 645 am. Mira couldn't stop crying. We were all quiet. We checked out that night itself.
This morning, we went to his home as he will be kebumikan after Zohor. Alhamdulillah everything went well. I know, from the number of people present, Sufyan was greatly loved.
Ibu talked to him Sufyan's mother. She did not blamed us. It is all written in his destiny. Even if we managed to pull him out on time, something else might have gone wrong. No one can stop Allah's way of doing things.
When the jenazah was brought down after mandi and disembahyangkan, more people than you could imagine was there. His little sister was crying for him asking him to wake up, not to sleep anymore. I couldn't take it. I started to cry. It breaks my heart, seeing all his love ones in pain.
Now, there is no way of turning back time and I wish the best for the family. I really am very sorry if, at any time, we have caused the family more grievance and sadness.

Hello beautiful people!!! I know I have not been updating. Very tired la most of the time. Haha!!
OK, so bonus is in. You know I have been wanting to get the Coach wrislet right? I din get that. Haha. Instead, I settled for highlighting my hair and a new phone. Haha! After so long of wanting to get a phone....I got a Samsung F480. And it's pink!! Haha!!! I am so so happy now.
OK lets see. There was the Xmas lunch @ SRDC. Every year we have gift exchange. This year, mine is Geraldine, one of our CS member. Thank God it was easy to find a gift. Got her the Adidas Cologne and Deo Spray. At least she liked it. Emelyne got me and I got a cigarette case from her. Just a normal black cigarette case, which I am glad I have, cos it looked slick! Haha. Lunch was KFC and Canadian Pizza. Kaori kept telling me that I can't wait to eat. Which is true!! I was so hungry. SBUX SNG gave us 2 vouchers for Dark Cherry Mocha I think.So Xmas day, I spent half the day at the salon to do my hair. It's OK la but I was very hungry and I ended up calling Amira to buy for me food. After that was straight home. To work the next day as normal and will be on leave next week, coming back to work only on Friday. Haa!
Why am I on leave? Because, we will be celebrating Amira's birthday this year. So to those who are invited, please do come OK. Would really apppreciate it!!
It was all Malin's idea to have a birthday bash. It was supposed to be a surprise for Mira but after 2 agonizing months of trying to get her friend's contacts, I failed. And since Malin, me and Ibu was so busy with work, we decided to tell Mira about this. Of coz, she was quite happy to take on some reponsibilities for the party.
So 2moro, we'll be checking in. But before that, I need to go back to work to take my stuff that I left. Jessie, Kaori, Geraldine and I went shopping on Friday. As usual, if there's a Metro sale, I will go for the underwears and bras. Haha! But I left it at work.

Saturday was a quiet day at home.
I woke up early to buy Lulu’s school books and uniforms.Before that, we went to have breakfast at Mac. But Mira forgot to bring her book list so she went back home while order. I looked so stupid with 2 meals sitting and not eating. Haha!! Her school stuff cost me and Malin about 200 bucks. And that is not inclusive of her shoes, bags and stationeries. Haiz. But it’s ok. Since she is the youngest kan, so must manjakan a bit la. After that was straight home and slept all afternoon. Woke up to Ibu slamming the door indicating that she was home. Hehe…The rest of the day was just me sitting in the living room with my lappy in front of me.
Sunday was a rainy day. But we SBUX CS had to go to Peter’s house for Xmas lunch. It was raining cats and dogs and I so din wanna take a cab. So Kaori requested Allan to fetch me along the way. That’s a relief I tell you. Free ride. Woohoo!!
Reached there around 1 plus, finding the rest sitting at the void deck waiting for Peter to come back from the shop. After that, we headed up. Sitting and all, we watched, Indiana Jones: The Temple of Doom. I cannot believe Sukan and the rest have not watched before. The only ones who have watched it like thousands of times are Peter, Alvin, Kaori and me. OMG! After that, I headed to Tampines. Alone ok!! Hehe. Bought the gift for my secret santa. I hope she will like it. Haha!! Then head home.

Wednesday, went to eat @ Pizza Hut with Kaori after work then we had to go shopping for my Secret Santa person. Every Xmas, we will have to pick a person and we will buy a present for the person. This year, I intend to get a perfume for this person. So Kaori and me went to look. So while we were looking, we were being a bit jahat, opening the box and smelling the perfume la. Then Kaori opened one box and it started leaking. We were freaked. We managed to put it back in the box but by then the salesgirl was already behind me. Since we were squatting, Kaori looked up, put on a fake smile and said hi. How lame can the situation get? No choice, we had to tell her. She was all bossy asking how did it break and all. Wah! I was bloody pissed. I explained to her that when we lay the box on our palm, it was leaking. That means the bottle was not closed properly kan? Then she called her colleauge. Takot nah kena bayar. But of course, I refused to pay. So after saying to her, "So you are saying that we broke it and we have to pay?", the colleaugue finally opened the box and I think she realized that the bottle has a problem. So she said sorry to us and let us leave. Ape jek la pompuan negeri Cina ni...Kalau kena bayar pun, murah ape. And it's not our fault ok!!

Desmond and Willie came to Singapore to spend time with us and we were all grateful. They presented a presentation on how Starbucks as a whole is doing. We're doing fine by the way.
Since Thursday, we have been going through this customer service course. This is good, because, through the slides, we are able to know what we are doing wrong and where are the areas that we can improve on. Personally, I think it is good. I mean, there are a lot of things that I need to improve on.
Today, we continued again and then we had lunch at Shine Cafe. We had lotsa fun talking about stuff. From there, Aric boldly brought up the topic about team building. And SBUX had agreed to give us a certain amount of budget. And after much thinking, we might be going to either of these 4 places:-
- Kuala Lumpur
- Bintan
- Batam
- Kuching
Most probably it will be KL. And most probably the trip will fall on my birthday. Woohoo!!!

Aidiladha this year was at Pak Ngah's. Reaching there around 1 pm, we realized the only other family who already reached was Pak Hussein, Mak Cha and Mak Nah. Haha! Every year, Ibu will be screaming at the top of her lungs, waking us up saying that we're late. But every year, we reached earlier than others. Haha!!
5 mins later, Mak Chu and family came. So since I was already hungry, I went to the table and started taking food. This year is a little different, no pot luck! All household chipped in 20 bucks and Mak Ngah prepared Western. There was Shepperd's Pie, Baked Rice, Pasta in Creamy Sauce, Pizza, Rosemary Chicken and some other stuff that even I dun remember. Desserts were cup cakes and brownies. It was all super delicious. I was loving every minute stuffing myself. Hehe!! By 2 plus, every family was there. It was super noisy and we cousins settled in Halimi's room. It's strange that it still feels like a girls room. You see, it used to be Kak Jaja's room. Even after almost 2 years, it still feels like a girls room. So we cousins sort of caught up with each other. Looking at all of them, I realized that it will be only be a matter of time before all of us start to have our own life. Jaja and Abg Hafiz is married. Abg Faiz will be tying the knot with Sheila next year. Oh yeah, Sheila. She's very very nice. I loike!! How she manage to capture Abg Faiz's heart is still a mystery to me..Haha!! Malin will be tying the knot sometime next year too.
By next year, Fazlin and Diani will graduate from Poly. Working or continuing their studies, they themselves are unsure. Mira, Izyan and Aliff will still be in secondary school. Nevertheless, they will be having more and more fun with their group of friends. Ili will be in secondary school. Ain, Mai and Danial are growing too fast. Though I don't seem to be close to them, I can tell that they are having so much fun growing up.
Which leave Zain and Anaqi. you just can't keep yr hands off these 2 adorable boys. They are just the sweetest.
Oh yeah, in addition, we will be welcoming Abg Hafiz and Azreen's 2nd child. We wtill don't know if it's a girl or a boy. Even the parent don't. I am praying it's a girl. Hehe...
So hopefully, next year, we will have more of this catching up. No pictures!! All of us was so busy catching up, none of us whipped out the camera.
