Lovely story. About people in the tricky dating world. All the hot stars are in it! You people should watch.Work was OK. I took leave on Thursday and made Sam accompany me to Driving Centre so I can register for my BTT. At last!! I have the courage to do this. All of my friends are very supportive. Thanks Sam for accompanying me! Myn pun, sampai nak pinjamkan buku!! Hehe...But it's ok people, I bought the book already. The test won't be until March. So I better start studying.
I don't have much to update la actually. Except that my boss was very stressed out. So all of us decided to text him at once. It made him smile. Haha!! That's how much we love our boss!!!

This is gonna be a hell of a rojak post...Haha!!
Let's see. This week we had Townhall Meeting. I kept saying that it was boring, but actually, I had some questions answer for this. Haha! But it's really long. We had to be seated by 1630 and we were only let out at 1930. Due to the recession, there was some major changes in DHL. BUT! We are not cutting people. Alhamdulillah. The whole idea is, 'To cut cost and save jobs' NOT, 'To cut jobs to save cost'. Another good news is that, since we performed well enough in 2008, we will al be getting something in April. Wee!!! Thank god they're not taking that away! Overall, I think everyone had all their doubts answered. Then it was dinner time. We SBUX Team, quickly made our way to the reception area and took like lotsa food. The chix wing was damn nice! Me, Suken, Indah, Jessie and Pei Wen can't stop eating it. We went for 2nd and third rounds of chix wings! Haha! Indah was so funny, she took one of this dessert and almost pop the plastic that was holding the dessert together into her mouth. But I managed to stop her. Haha! Well, actually, we saw one guy who did that. Stupid caterer. Why transparent? Haha..Then it was end of the day already.
The next day, Wednesday, there was a Singtel Promotion held at our office. We can have corporate lines if we are DHL staff. Subscription was slashed off to almost half. Plus, the phone that I fell in love with was going on at zero with 2 years plan. With the public, it will cost me $198, after trade in of $200 ok! Plus, the plan will be $25/- plus plus plus. DHL staff, enjoy paying only like $15/- plus plus plus....It's so worth it, it's a crime not to get it! ?Haha. So....presenting my latest baby, Nokia E71. Hehe!!! I got a threaten via email from Myn when I told her I got this phone! Oh yeah, and I bought Mira Sony Erisson, G900, Red. Now I have 2 phones and 2 lines. Hmm...What am I gonna do??!
On Thursday, I was at work, but was unable to get any work done. Something was wrong with the server and the Internet was done for the whole day. I cannot even do anything. Why? 1, because the Internet was done and I cannot access and system. 2, I have done all my filing the day before. Argh!!! Thank god for the new phone. Hehe..For the first time, i was playing games at work! Haha!!But, being unable to work left most of us feeling lethargic. What with no Internet and all. We couldn't even surf! And so, I left work at 1800 feeling more tired than ever.
Today, my Internet still wasn't up. The rest got theirs working yesterday evening. But I had no luck! Fortunately for me, Suken has a thumb drive and Aric was away. So I transfer whatever PO that I need to arrange and work using Aric's PC. At last, around 11 plus, Joseph, the IT guy, managed to bring my PC to live again. I was almost at the verge of plugging my CPU and bringing it to Aric's table. Can you imagine?! Me carrying a big black box to two ailse away from me just to connect it to the LAN line?! Haha! But alhamdulillah. Everything was well, and I manage to clear all emails before 1800 today. Lunch was with Myn and Nani, after not meeting them for a long long time! We had about 45 minutes of chatting and off they went! I really wish I can spend more time with them!! :(
Anyway, my aunt msg me to see if I can take leave end of this month! I hope we are going to Indonesia!!!*cross fingers**Oh by the way, Mak Nah and Mak Cha got me a Mariah Carey Luscious Pink perfume. It smell Heavenly. And they bought Malin Dune, Christine Dior! Also nice. Hehe!!!Thanks you guys!!

Well, I turned 24 yesterday. Nothing much. I decided to stay home. Only to go out for dinner at 18 Chefs with Mom and sisters. The food was superb. Those pasta lovers, you guys should go there. Later on, watched Bride Wars, 2330 timing. This time, we made Mom watched. Haha. After so long of not being in the theaters.
I wanna thank all the people for their lovely thru msgs thru text, msn, friendster, facebook and other means. It means the world to know that you guys remember me.
Okay, I don't really feel like blogging. Pictures are up on Multiply. :)

I don’t usually blog during work but since I have not much to do, I’ll make this an exception.
Today is my dad’s birthday. It’s been 4 years since his death, yet, I feel like as though he is still alive. I dunno why but I wish he’s still here. I miss him badly and I want him to be with us 2moro on my birthday. It would be impossible of course, but that is my birthday wish.
My father, have always been the strict. His daughters weren’t allowed to go out till late at night. We had to be home before Maghrib. We weren’t allowed to go for camps, sleep over at chalets. We weren’t able to have the freedom as a child would have. But, as strict as he was, we always managed to get into trouble. Can’t blame him. He was raised by my late grandma alone. His father passed away when he was only four. Life was hard on his family. Grandma was always away, working to feed her 6 children. My father was left alone. He was a kid trap in a man’s body. Despite the freedom that he has, he knew, he would never let our lives go astray the way his life was.
Throughout the journey of his life, my dad got married at the age of 19, had 2 sons. Later on divorced, raiding the 2 sons on his own before he met my Mom. With my Mom, he had 3 daughters, me being the first, Malin, second and Mira, last. Pretty much complete, I’ll say. However, life wasn’t easy. He wasn’t much of a student when he was younger. Drop out of school at the age of 15, he started working and he never stopped working until 2 months before his death.
I remembered as kids, even though we were never allowed to do a lot of thing, he will make sure there is something fun for us at home. Though low income, he managed to buy us games, make sure we have enough clothing, SCV so that we have lots of channels to keep us occupied. Till date, I still do not know how my father had the strength to work and work and work. All I know is that, my father loves us and he would do anything to get us a comfortable life.
The day that he passed away, a lot of people came to see him one last time. I am glad, to know that my father has so many friends who love him. Till today, some of them still get in touch with my Mom, to know how we are doing.
If my father is still alive, today, he would have probably given me a call and say, “Tak wish I happy birthday?’ haha…Then at night, I will bring him to Mas Ayu and we will have a family dinner there. The most sumptuous meal as a family. I will make sure he will have his favorite, Sambal Kangkung (if I get the name right). He will surely be very happy, that Malin and me are now working. Mira is now pratically an adult. Like father, she is a girl trapped in a girl’s body. Mom working as a childcare giver to support the family.
I wish you are here dad..
